We arrived in Seinajoki on Wednesday 3 January.

Before that we flew from Marseille to Amsterdam with a stopover and then a flight to Helsinki with a 30 minute delay.

However, because of the delay we had to wait for another train, which meant we arrived in Seinajoki at around 6.30pm.

I can tell you that you’ll never in your life be able to imagine what we went through in terms of temperature shock.
The first few steps were normal until we felt the -35°C through our clothes.

We started walking towards the grocery shop.

We collected our keys from a grocery store, as the agency had given them the keys to our flat and rooms.
Then we arrived, in a flat that met our expectations.

We tidied up, cleaned up and settled into our flat at Puskantie 38.
