Sports

When we arrived, i was excited to attempt different sport session with the university. I was wondering to discover new sport and of course to play my favourite sport such as the basketball.

So, i wanted to enroll myself into the Samo Program in order first to receive the card, and to have different discount for example on the grocery stores, train system in finland ect…
And also the card enable me to be eligible to participe at each training sessions of our SAMO.

Then, i became a SAMO member and i discovered the Sport Schedule.

This is my Sport Timetable example of each week.

Monday : Volleyball – 19:30 / 21
Tuesday : Chess (External to the university) 18 – 19:30 and Basketball 19:30 – 21
Wednesday : Free Gym Training when I want
Thursday : Volleyball 16:30 / 18 and Badminton 18 / 19:30
Friday : Off or Sauna
Saturday : Gym
Sunday : Rest

Participating in sports during my Erasmus program has been an enriching and transformative experience. It has not only allowed me to meet new people and form lasting friendships, but also to discover and engage in different sports. These activities have helped me maintain my physical fitness, even as I navigate through an unfamiliar culture. More importantly, they have facilitated my integration into this new environment, making me feel more at home. The power of sports in bringing people together and fostering a sense of community is truly remarkable
